A Bit about Ami:

Ayurveda saved my life. In the late 1990s I was living abroad and almost died. When I returned home, I could not eat anything without severe pain for a couple of years. I went to many doctors, specialists and naturopaths but no one could help me. Finally, I met an Ayurvedic doctor who gave me simple suggestions that improved my health and changed my life. This is what led me down the path to becoming a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Therapist. My goal with this program is to empower and educate you so that you can optimize your health.

I did my Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner Training with Dr. Sehgal of Boston Ayurveda. I trained in Marma Therapy with Dr. Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute. I studied as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor with the Kripalu School of Ayurveda. I belong to the International Association of Yoga Therapists and National Ayurvedic Medical Association. I have been teaching holistic healing and yoga in the Hudson Valley and beyond since 1995.
